Job Summary:
The Liquor Store Attendant provides excellent customer service, checks identification and assists customers with finding products. The Liquor Store Attendant also operates the POS systems, handles cash, stocks shelves, rotates inventory, maintains store cleanliness and strictly adheres to alcohol laws while also handling deliveries.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, offer product suggestions, and provide friendly service.
- Verify customer identification to ensure legal age for alcohol purchases, refusing sales when necessary.
- Operates cash registers, POS systems, and processes payments (cash, card) accurately.
- Answer phone calls and product inquiries.
- Receives, unloads, and checks in new stock deliveries.
- Stocks shelves, coolers, and displays, ensuring products are faced and rotated.
- Keeps the store, include aisles, registers, windows, and floors clean and organized.
- Adheres to all state and local liquor laws.
- Stays updated on promotions, advertisements, and product information.
- Maintains reliable attendance for all scheduled shifts.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
- Employees must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
