Job Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and collect their information.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and schedule appointments.
  • Verify medical insurance benefits.
  • Become familiar with billing codes for eye services.
  • Check patients out and collect fees.
  • Perform various clerical duties.


Qualifications

  • Two years of experience with front desk duties and customer service.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Familiarity with medical insurance benefits or eyecare experience is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Must present a friendly, outgoing attitude.
  • Proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Respectful and considerate communication, including clear and audible speech.
