Position Summary



The Architectural Staff professional will support the planning, design, and delivery of a variety of projects, including K–12 educational facilities, commercial developments, and private building projects. This role offers hands-on experience across all phases of design within a collaborative architecture and engineering environment, with mentorship from senior staff and opportunities for continued professional growth.



 



Key Responsibilities




  • Support architectural design and documentation from programming through construction documents

  • Assist with the development of plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules

  • Coordinate architectural work with in-house engineering disciplines, including structural, civil, and MEP

  • Participate in design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination meetings

  • Apply building codes, accessibility requirements, and firm standards to project work

  • Assist with construction administration tasks, including submittals, RFIs, and site observations

  • Revise drawings based on redlines and field conditions

  • Support project teams in meeting schedule, budget, and quality objectives



 



Required Qualifications




  • High School diploma required. Associates in Architectural Technology preferred.

  • 2–10 years of professional architectural experience

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

  • Basic understanding of building systems, codes, and construction documentation

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail



 



Preferred Qualifications




  • Experience with K–12, commercial, private, or public-sector projects

  • Exposure to integrated architecture and engineering project teams

  • Progress toward architectural licensure preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements




  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer

Compensation



Good Faith Salary Range: $55,000–$85,000 annually. Starting pay within this range will be based on factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
