Are you a passionate Speech Language Pathologist who believes communication is a fundamental human right? LifeScape is seeking an interested candidate to join our dynamic and collaborative team as a full-time OR an as-needed (PRN) pediatric Speech Language Pathologist at our inpatient location that includes a specialty school, residential living and a specialty hospital.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive evaluation and therapy for pediatric clients with language disorders, complex communication needs, and feeding and swallowing challenges
  • Implement and support AAC systems, including low-tech and high-tech speech-generating devices
  • Use evidence-based and neurodiversity-affirming practices to support functional communication
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Coach caregivers to promote carryover of communication and feeding skills in natural environments
  • Track outcomes and progress using data-driven, functional goals

Requirements

Education and Experience

Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligible to enter Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Current licensure or eligible for licensure in South Dakota. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. 

All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.
