    Speech and Language Pathologist

    Position: Full Time Speech and Language Pathologist

    Description: SAU #53 is seeking a full time Speech and Language Pathologist to become a member of a highly skilled and dedicated multidisciplinary team. The speech and language pathologist will conduct assessments and provide speech services for students, as needed. This is an SAU based position with potential to work with students in our K-8 school in Epsom  for three days a week. This position starts in the 2026-2027 school year.    

    Job Summary:  The successful candidate must be able to administer evaluations to students identified with or suspected of having disabilities needing therapy services. These evaluations must result in comprehensive written reports and verbal presentations detailing outcomes and recommendations. The speech and language pathologist serves as a collaborative member of the IEP team.  Consultation is also part of the role responsibilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills, good organization/time management skills, inclusive practices, and knowledge of special education procedures are fundamental. Ability to fulfill duties as needed for the Medicaid to Schools Program is also needed.   


    Qualifications: Current certification as a Speech and Language Pathologist through the New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure and Certification is required.
