Location: Candela Cucina, South Coast, MA


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced chef with a minimum of 5 years in the restaurant industry and 2 years in management to join our successful and growing team. The Chef plays a critical role in delivering an unforgettable guest experience preparing the best Italian food on the Southcoast! You are responsible for top notch cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times. You will be managing a cohesive team that supports each other’s success in a fast-paced environment.


What you will do:

  • Understand our Guest-Obsessed culture and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience.
  • Run the expo window.
  • Oversee kitchen staff in their daily roles and responsibilites.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef for Sunday Brunches.
  • Prepare raw ingredients and follow strict recipes.
  • Ensure correct cook temperatures on all proteins.
  • Use proper portioning techniques.
  • Inventory/Ordering.
  • Kitchen Schedule.
  • Read tickets to determine what/when items need to be prepared.
  • Clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces to ensure station is clean and sanitized at all times.
