HOT TOPIC DISTRIBUTION CENTER IS HIRING DIRECTLY FOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS.
This position performs general and preventive maintenance on MHE (Material-Handling Equipment), such as all DC conveyor systems, Put-To-Light, related support systems, and non-MHE in the distribution center, by completing repairs or replacing defective components. This role also maintains parts inventory for system components and up-to-date equipment technical materials, along with other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
SCHEDULE: All shifts are subject to mandatory overtime as needed.

- Wednesday-Saturday 4:45am-3:15pm.
- Sunday-Wednesday 4:45am-3:15pm.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred working with MHE systems in a preventive maintenance capacity.
- Experience in mechanical and pneumatic is preferred.
- Knowledge of repairing and adjusting conveyor systems (such as lace conveyor belts and track conveyor belts, etc.).
- Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals 24V-460V.
- Have experience working with photo-eye sensors.
- Knowledge and ability to use a wide variety of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback, and be a solid verbal and written communicator.
- Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure.
- Approach obstacles proactively and look for ways to resolve problems and issues.
- Frequently required to stand, bend, and lift/move up to 50 pounds. May lift/move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- May be exposed to some chemicals when performing the job.
