Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience for our Charlotte, North Carolina office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide task support to the Construction Observation & Testing group
• Coordinate and manage drilling projects and oversee junior staff with management of these projects, as well as visual classification and log preparation
• Coordinate and review laboratory testing
• Complete accurate geotechnical exploration reports
• Perform engineering calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, pavement section designs, slope stability, etc.
• Generate scopes and fees for new projects and prepare complete proposals and budgets.
