JOB DESCRIPTION


Job Title: CDL Yard Truck Driver 

Department: Warehouse

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager – Julie Wilburn

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Shift: Day Shift (430a – 430p)

Summary:

Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on work? We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused Yard Driver to play a key role in keeping our yard organized and our shipments on schedule.

What You’ll Do:

  • Move trailers and equipment safely throughout the yard as needed
  • Ensure efficient loading dock flow and trailer placement 
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard 
  • Communicate with warehouse and logistics teams to keep operations running smoothly 

Qualifications - What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid class A CDL driver’s license 
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MRV)
  • Experience operating yard trucks, tractors, or similar equipment (Manual & Automatic)
  • Must be forklift certified or have the ability to be certified
  • Strong attention to safety and detail 
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions 
  • Self-driven, Dependable, team-oriented mindset 

 

GMP & PPE REQUIRED 

Drivers, while in the facility are required to follow all GMP rules in their employee handbook this includes the required hair nets, beard nets, and earplugs for safety. It is also required that all personnel wear safety glasses while operating a forklift.
