Job Description

This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Material Management Specialist I/II/III

Annual Salary: 

  • Level I F20A - $35,000.00 + Full State Employee Benefits
  • Level II F20B - $37,625.00 + Full State Employee Benefits
  • Level III F20C - $41,387.50 + Full State Employee Benefits

Travel is OCCASIONAL - Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.

WORK HOURS 7:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday

General Function

Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving the management, from acquisition to disposal, of all supplies and equipment used to support an institution or agency.  These responsibilities include procurement, receipt, storage, control, issuance, inventory, and delivery of material.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Materiel Management Specialist Level I - No education or experience is required.

Materiel Management Specialist Level II - Requirements at this level consist of two years of experience in the receipt, storage, or stock handling work, and issuance of material; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Materiel Management Specialist Level III - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of three years of experience in receipt, storage, or stock handling work, and issuance of material; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • This position will be responsible for a wide range of operational duties at the DHS Supply Warehouse.
  •  Receives, issues, ships, and arranges inventory and supply stock.
  •  Provides inventory and utilization records.
  •  Transport and move agency supplies, furniture, equipment, records, and other items used in the operation of agency offices.
  •  Maintains logs for vehicles and equipment used; maintains equipment, tools, and supplies used in the performance of duties, as needed.
