    Grades 8-12 Tuition Summer School TEACHERS

    The Watertown Tuition Summer School 2025-2026 is seeking teachers for the anticipated courses outlined below.  Please note that the need for teachers of specific courses outlined in the posting is contingent upon enrollment.

    Required Certifications & Qualifications

    State of Connecticut Teaching Certificate in the Subject Area Applying 

    Essential Performance Responsibilities

    Watertown Public Schools is seeking dynamic certified teachers with demonstrated commitment to the development of all children and flexibility in working with students on credit recovery; Previous experience teaching in the high school summer school will be considered:

                     1 English Teacher                         2 Mathematics Teachers

                     1 Social Studies Teacher             1 World Language Teacher          1 Science Teacher

     

    Please indicate your preference for assignment on application. 

    Terms of Employment

    There will be one planning day on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 8:00-11:00 AM at $27 per hour. 

    Required daily attendance from 8:00-11:15 AM starting Monday, June 29, 2026  through Friday, July 17, 2026 (no school on July 4); $1,100 per instructional block.  Availability/number of positions subject to student registration. Location - Watertown High School. 

    Additional Duties

    Perform all other duties that may be assigned by the Director of the Tuition Summer School Program or the Director of Operations, Curriculum & Instruction.
