Responsibilities:
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Greet and register guests and owners promptly, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in/check-out experience
- Verify all reservation details at check-in, including guest information, payment method, and departure date
- Coordinate guest service requests with housekeeping, bell services, and reservations teams
- Communicate room status updates (checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins) to housekeeping in a timely manner
- Handle cash, credit card, and traveler’s check transactions in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain accurate records, files, and guest information while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies
- Provide information about room types, rates, resort amenities, and local attractions
- Answer incoming calls using proper telephone etiquette and company standards
- Utilize the property management system to manage reservations and guest accounts
- Stay informed on group functions, including event locations, schedules, and services offered
- Follow all safety and security procedures; report any incidents, unsafe conditions, or suspicious activity
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding issues, guest concerns, or operational updates
- Deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-service environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic financial transactions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
