POSITION:  Summer - HSU Volleyball Camp

DEPARTMENT:  Athletics

SUMMARY/SCOPE:

Hardin-Simmons University will host three volleyball camps
during the summer. If you are interested in assisting with the volleyball camp
please apply below.

Beginner All Skills Camp

Intermediate All Skills Camp

Grades: 6th-8th

Future Cowgirl Elite Camp

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsible for
coaching and supervising campers during the entirety of allotted camp schedule.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

HSU volleyball player/staff member, or volleyball
coach

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have the
ability to move, stoop, bend, and jump while teaching future volleyball players
different techniques.
 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Beginner All Skills Camp is designed to encourage young players (new and
experienced) in learning proper technique within the basic skills of the game.
We utilize a lighter volleyball to help the athletes with control and
repetition. We will introduce a foundation to all skills of the game while
instilling a love for working hard and playing the game of volleyball.

The Future Cowgirl Elite Camp
offers a high level of training and game speed drills for experienced high
school athletes 15-18 years old. Refining technique and exposure to the
tactical aspects of the game is key to this intense volleyball environment. 

The Intermediate All Skills camp is a great fit for the aspiring middle
school and developing high school players 13-18 years old.  This camp is designed to continue to fine
tune all volleyball skills as well as begin to learn game tactics and
strategy.
