The salary range for this position is listed below. Actual salary dependent upon experience.
- $63,960-$95,680 (annual salary)

A Brief Overview
Oversees the daily operations and performance of Surgical Technologists within the Operating Room (OR). This role ensures that surgical procedures run efficiently by coordinating staff schedules, maintaining sterile technique standards, managing surgical supplies and equipment, and supporting surgeons and nursing staff. The Supervisor also provides leadership, training, and performance evaluation for surgical technologists while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, safety regulation, and infection control protocols. The Supervisor works closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and hospital administration to promote high quality patient care, maintaining an organized operating environment, and ensure that all surgical instruments and equipment are prepared, sterile and available for procedures.
What you will do
- Ensures strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards.
- Manages OR supply inventory, surgical instruments, and equipment readiness.
- Develops staff schedules and assign technologists to surgical procesures.
- Supervises and coordinates the work of the surgical technologists in the OR.
- Assists in complex surgical procedures when needed.
- Monitors compliance with regulatory standards (AORN, OSHA, hospital policies, etc.).
- Collaborates with OR Leadership to improve workflow and patient safety.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- 4-6 years Surgical Technologist
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Associate's Accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Upon Hire and
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Upon Hire
