Locations: Weiser, Caldwell, Mountain Home, Gooding, Twin Falls, Burley, Idaho Falls, Aberdeen, Osgood



Substitute:




  • Hired temporarily to supplement the workforce or to assist in the completion of a specific project.

  • Position is considered a dual position

  • NOT eligible for any benefits, holiday pay, or paid time off

  • Cannot transition into another employee type unless they are selected for employment through agency hiring procedures.



 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)




  • Assist the Bus Driver in maintaining discipline on the bus.

  • Assist and monitor children while bus is in operation.

  • Assist Bus Driver in documentation of children’s information and record keeping.

  • Assist parents and center personnel with safe loading and unloading of children.

  • Coordinate seating of children as required by State Transportation guidelines.

  • Maintain grounds: pick up litter and trash, mow grass, weed planting areas, and irrigate.

  • Perform cleaning and minor maintenance on center facilities, grounds, and playground equipment.

  • Perform cleaning and minor maintenance on buses

  • Communicate with Teacher Aides, Teachers, and parents concerning child behavior and medical problems

  • Assist in preparation and cooking meals in compliance with the 6-week cycle menu and other applicable local, state, and federal standards.

  • Able to read and understand the menu, assist in ensuring compliance with food preparation and applicable sanitation standards and state regulations.

  • Assist in maintaining all food item receipts, menu production records and meal counts.

  • Knowledge and ability to safely operate kitchen and food preparation equipment and tools

  • Ability to measure ingredients, follow recipes, and perform basic mathematical functions.

  • Follow dietary guidelines and individualized meal plans.

  • Assist with food delivery to classrooms.

  • Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records

  • Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety practices.
