Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Substitute Food Service professional. This substitute position is essential in ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly in the absence of regular staff. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established menus and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a safe, hygienic, and appealing manner.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of food service areas, including dining rooms and serving stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, following health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and a positive dining experience for customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Adhere to all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in food service.
- Fill in for absent staff members as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various roles.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional food service training or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in food service or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as necessary.
