Position Detail:

·         One position available for the 2025-2026 school year at the Elementary

·         5 days a week (Monday - Friday) 8:00 – 2:25 p.m.

·         Working one-on-one with a special needs student

·         Supervising student in the classroom and on the playground, as needed.

·         Assisting teacher with instruction

 

Qualifications – Preferred:

·         Successful completion of 60 college credits or

·         Graduate with an Associate’s degree from a university or college or

·         Demonstrate knowledge of reading, writing, and math by successful completion of the ACT WorkKeys or ParaPro Assessment

 

      Skills and Experience

·         Experience working with children, particularly special needs.

·         Special Education experience preferred

·         Patience, flexibility, and adaptability

·         Educational coursework is preferred

 

This is a school calendar year temporary position, as needed.

Position to be re-evaluated throughout the year and at the conclusion of the school year.
