Job Title: Corporate Director of Human Resources Location: Ocean City, MD - Corporate Office
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Basic Purpose:
The Corporate Director of Human Resources leads and executes HR strategy across Harrison Group, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance, and development of a high-performing workforce.
Organizational Scope:
Oversees all HR functions across the organization including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, training, and HR systems across all properties.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals
- Oversee HR operations including compensation, benefits, and employee relations
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations
- Lead recruiting and workforce planning initiatives
- Analyze HR metrics and report to executive leadership
- Drive employee engagement and retention programs
- Manage HR budgets and departmental resources
- Travel to properties to support HR initiatives

- Deep knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required
- 8–12 years of progressive HR experience
- 5+ years in senior leadership role
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred

Travel Required:
Occasional travel to hotel properties for training, meetings, and operational support.
Hours Required:
Forty to fifty hours per week over a five-day period; flexibility required based on business needs.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and travel as needed.
