Job Summary

The mission of the Security Surveillance Technician is to protect all J&J Gaming, LLC assets and maintain integrity of Gaming utilizing high tech surveillance equipment. This position must perform all duties in accordance with procedures, controls, applicable laws, and gaming regulations.


Job Responsibilities

  • Operate a closed-circuit surveillance system to monitor customer locations for criminal activity and gaming activities to ensure compliance.
  • Record irregularities through detailed written reports.
  • Observe patrons to detect various types of scams, fraud, or other violations.
  • Notify customer location owner and local authorities of criminal activity.
  • Prepare daily activity report logs, incident reports and daily interdepartmental surveillance reports.
  • Review video footage of significant events and provide details to management, establish owners, and/or law enforcement.
  • Safeguard all confidential information and maintain departmental confidentiality.
  • Support Customer Service call center (fielding incoming service calls, entering service tickets)
  • Perform other tasks as directed.

 Education

High school diploma or GED.

 Qualifications and Experience

  • 1 to 2 years related experience or training preferred.
  • Must possess high integrity regarding confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, managers, and across departments.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 Work Environment

This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is low.
