Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Technician to join our esteemed Diagnostic Imaging team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services using computed tomography (CT) technology. This position requires a thorough understanding of radiologic procedures, patient care protocols, and safety standards to ensure accurate imaging while minimizing radiation exposure. As a Technician, you will collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide vital diagnostic information for patient care and treatment planning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise, attention to detail, and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical environment, adhering strictly to all regulatory and institutional guidelines. This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes by facilitating timely and precise imaging services. Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT imaging equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic scans according to physician orders and protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately to ensure clear and precise imaging results while maintaining their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient data, and equipment maintenance logs in compliance with hospital policies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety standards and infection control policies to protect patients and staff.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to review images and provide necessary clinical support.
  • Assist in the calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CT equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Educate patients and families regarding the CT imaging process and answer any queries to alleviate concerns.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a degree or certificate program in Radiology.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or required to obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.
  • Active ARRT and TMB License.
  • Preferred experience in CT/X-Ray technology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to operate complex imaging machinery and perform routine quality assurance checks independently.
  • Capacity to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient care.
