| Primary Duties and Responsibilities: | As Belmont social work students engage in a curriculum integrating professional practice, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration, the School of Social Work seeks applicants with clinical expertise and a strong commitment to teaching, scholarship, and student mentorship. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute across both BSW and MSW curricula, collaborate in course design and delivery, and participate in interdisciplinary initiatives. | Required Education | A Master of Social Work (MSW) is required, and a doctorate or significant progress toward a doctoral degree is required. A Ph.D. or a DSW is strongly preferred. |
| Required Experience | Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in clinical social work practice and the ability to teach across the BSW and MSW curricula. Experience or demonstrated leadership in research and teaching is highly valued. A minimum of two years of post-master's practice experience is strongly preferred. Applicants with diverse areas of practice and scholarship are encouraged to apply, particularly those who can contribute to Belmont’s values-centered, interdisciplinary learning environment. |
