GUEST SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Harvest Café – Kitchen Kettle Village

 

Intercourse, Pa | Part-time | $12-$15 per hour + tips (Rate based on experience and availability)

 

Kitchen Kettle Village is seeking guest-focused team members for the Harvest Café. This role centers on spreading happiness by ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and accurately handling transactions. You'll work in a fast-paced café setting, providing outstanding service through greeting guests, managing dining areas, handling food service operations, and building relationships with both guests and tour groups.

What You'll Do

  • Accurately handle all money transactions, close registers, and reconcile cash at end of business day
  • Assist with opening and/or closing the Café as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining room by clearing tables, disposing of trash, wiping tables, and sweeping floors
  • Assure guest satisfaction by greeting guests, visiting tables, responding to service issues with LEAP, gathering feedback, and providing Village information
  • Ensure front-of-house is clean and presentable through housekeeping duties, restroom checks, and stocking supplies
  • Complete operational logs (HACCP, Cleaning, Opening/Closing, First Aid, etc.) as requested
  • Demonstrate complete menu knowledge and share with guests
  • Build relationships with regular tour guides and bus drivers, learning their names and preferences
  • Exercise proper food handling procedures and maintain cleanliness of food serving lines and guest areas
