As a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager you will play a key leadership role on our clinical team—overseeing daily operations, supporting and mentoring nursing staff, and ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care. Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Schedule & Benefits:

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

  • Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License

  • Previous long-term care experience is preferred

  • Prior experience in inpatient and palliative care is preferred

  • Prior experience managing staff is preferred

  • Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care

  • Conduct nursing rounds on all units’ multiple times throughout the shift

  • Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members

  • Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans

  • Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines

  • Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents

  • Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines

  • Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator
