We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of Food Service Manager at Chadwick Community Care Center. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications: 

  • ·         Monitor food quality and portion control to maintain high standards of nutrition and satisfaction among residents.
  • ·         Oversee meal service to ensure residents receive timely and appropriate meals according to their individualized dietary plans.
  • ·         This position requires flexible hours/days, night, weekends and holidays.
  • ·         Assists in assigning specific jobs and spot checking to ensure standards are met.
  • ·         Ensures that all policies and procedures related to safety and health are followed, including but not limited to MSDS information, safe work practices, infection control and universal precautions.
  • ·         Promote teamwork within the department and between departments to ensure smooth operations and quality service.
  • ·         Assists in development, implementation and maintenance of written dining room service objectives and standards of practice with procedures for implementation.
  • ·         Assists in assuring staff education is provided to dining room personnel in accordance with the staff education plan, plus provides the job training for dining room personnel.
  • ·         Ensure that dining room service follows all local, federal and state regulations in relation to service, sanitation and personnel.
  • ·         Conduct daily pre-shift meetings, in-service training and tailored training courses.
  • ·         Inspects multiple pantries and equipment’s to determine repair or maintenance needs and cleanliness.
  • ·         Attends in-service training/meetings and ensure monthly education sessions through Relias are being completed on time as assigned.
  • ·         Auditing pantries’ service offerings, initiating improvements with dietary manager.
  • ·         Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • ·         High school diploma or GED
  • ·         Previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • ·         Proven ability to work in a fast-paced setting
  • ·         Strong multi-tasking skills
  • ·         The physical ability to remain standing for long periods of time
  • ·         Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • ·         Strong managerial skills
