Dean Lakes Education Center Position Details: Show/Hide - Facilitate the district onboarding and mentorship process to initiate the placement and integration of new instructional staff.
- Create and distribute orientation materials for new hires.
- Interpret and explain provisions of district policies, federal regulations, and state requirements related to education.
- Ensure new staff have access to the necessary technology, including Google Suite, AI tools, and information database systems.
- Offer one-on-one coaching sessions to new teachers based on observations to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with departments to develop and implement effective professional development programs specifically for new educators.
- Monitor staff progress and provide assistance and resource services during the district-wide evaluation period.
- Foster collaboration among teachers and administrators to promote a cohesive and supportive professional experience.
- Act as a resource person for administrative staff in the development of recruitment and selection practices.
- Communicate with Human Resources and community partners regarding concerns, activities, and the progress of newly hired staff.
- Support the recruitment and selection of certified and classified personnel to ensure high-quality staffing.
- Maintain accurate records and reports for staff activities and participation in induction programs.
- Continue professional development through seminars, workshops, research, and professional meetings;
- Support district and school operations as needed;
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Communications, Human Resources, or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
- Current Minnesota Teaching License or District Administrator license preferred.
- Successful experience in researching and implementing professional development or instructional coaching.
- Successful experience in researching and implementing practices related to instruction, curriculum development, and professional development.
- Demonstrated understanding, promotion and support of culturally responsive teaching and behavior management practices.
- Ability to prepare oral or written communications, such as presentations, reports, memoranda, letters, grant proposals, curriculum documents, etc.
- Advanced skills in Google Suite, AI Technologies, and data information systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across various platforms.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and conflicting time constraints.
- Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to leadership, performance and professional growth.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.

The Induction Coordinator provides essential leadership and administrative support to ensure the successful integration and retention of new instructional staff.
