    The pay range for a Transportation Account Manager is $43,680 - $74,880+ yearly (based on experience)

    What You Will Do:

    The Account Manager role requires a driven and self-motivated professional with experience in commercial lines insurance and a strong commitment to supporting business growth. In this position, you will manage and service an existing book of accounts while identifying opportunities to expand coverage and deepen client relationships within the trucking and transportation sector. Candidates must hold an active Property & Casualty license in Illinois to qualify for this position.

    • Manages a book of insurance business with strong autonomy, decision-making, and accountability for retention and client satisfaction

    • Delivers professional service to clients, carriers, underwriters, and partners while supporting Producers in growing and maintaining business

    • Oversees all transactions, documentation, and internal processing for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance

    • Analyzes clients’ coverage needs, compares policy options, monitors industry changes, and provides informed recommendations

    • Acts as liaison between clients and carriers to resolve complex service, claims, and billing issues, including negotiating with underwriters when needed

    • Documents all interactions in agency systems and supports training and mentorship of junior team members

    Preferred Attributes:

    • Fluency in Spanish is welcome but not required
    • Bachelor’s Degree or 1+ year(s) of relevant sales experience
