Puget Sound Care is hiring a Director of Maintenance for our 4-Star skilled nursing facility located in West Olympia. Job Duties/Repsonsibilities:

This position is responsible for maintaining our physical plant and grounds to include preventive maintenance on all equipment as well as building repairs to ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and good operating order. Must have a thorough understanding of life safety requirements in skilled nursing facilities in Washington state. This individual is responsible for interactions with the fire marshal and must keep organized records and documentation of all regulatory testing. This position is responsible for reaching out to vendors as needed for any work requiring a high level of expertise or licensing to perform and must have an understanding of budget parameters. This individual supervises the housekeeping and laundry supervisor and ultimately oversees all employees in the housekeeping and laundry department. 

Qualifications:

Applicants should have excellent technical and mechanical skills and have experience in light carpentry and plumbing. Experience with maintaining HVAC systems are also preferred. Must be familiar with skilled nursing Life Safety codes and regulations. Prior experience as a maintenance director preferred. This position is Monday through Friday and will include occasional calls after hours as needed for emergencies.
