Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented 4–month Business Analyst, Student Intern to join the Office of the CIO Investment Management team. In this role, you will contribute to data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement initiatives across the business.

Acting as a key bridge between Investment Management business stakeholders and other divisions, including the Information Technology team, you will help translate business requirements into actionable insights and scalable solutions. You will leverage tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sales Copilot, and Power BI to support business processes, enhance user experience, and deliver meaningful insights.

This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis, data analytics, and investment operations within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What you will do:

  • Partner with investment teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for key investment processes and initiatives

  • Support the effective use and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Sales Copilot to enhance workflow and productivity

  • Extract, cleanse, and transform data from multiple sources to support investment analysis and reporting needs

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards to enable informed business decision-making

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve business processes and reporting efficiency

  • Communicate insights to stakeholders through clear and effective data visualizations

  • Support data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data assets

  • Contribute to documentation, testing, and ongoing enhancement of systems and processes

What you will bring:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Sales Copilot

  • Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI

  • Exposure to DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, or similar data tools is considered an asset

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Understanding finance or investment concepts

 

The expected hourly rate range for this role is $26.00 to $40.00

 

The actual hourly rate offered to the successful candidate may vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, individual's expertise and level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered.
