McCaffrey’s Supermarket - FT Bakery Associate  

Job Summary - Bakery Associate

-Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves and display cases.
-Wrap, package and price all products accurately and legibly.
-Fill customer orders as requested, provided exceptional customer service.
-Remove products from freezer when instructed.
-Set up and put out bakery items for use by baker.
-Rotate products and remove out-of-code items.
-Maintain knowledge of all products sold within the department.
-Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program.
-Refer unusual or difficult customer problems to a manager for prompt attention.
-Perform other duties as directed or required by company policies.

Physical Demands:

-Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty.
-Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time.
-Work safely around ovens.
-Lift, push, and/or pull bakery ingredients/items up to 25 pounds.
-Ability to wear company-provided uniform, and maintain a clean and groomed appearance.

Skills Requirements:

-Friendly personality and “customer service” mentality.
-Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation.
-Good verbal and written communications skills.

*Must be at least 18 year of age.
