What you’ll do:  



Responsibilities/Duties:  





  • Ensuring orders of Dopplers and medications for patients are processed. 







  • Scheduling of IMEs and phone depositions. 







  • Assisting with iPads with patients. 







  • Setting up team meetings with depts. 







  • Setting up meetings for doctors with vendors. 







  • Filing all doctors' certificates and refilling for all reappointments for hospitals. 







  • Relay patient and physician messages internally and externally. 







  • Main hub for telecommunications with all depts (example MRI front desk physicians, PT). 







  • Sometimes room patients if short staffed in the office. 







  • Obtaining medical records (operative reports) for patients and other departments (i.e.: billing dept). 







  • When other admin assistants are out of the office ensure that their work is covered so that important tasks are not overlooked or delayed. 







  • Triage patient calls. 







  • Manage the physician’s schedules to ensure proper template is being followed. 







  • Perform other duties as assigned.
