Plainville High School Technology Education Teacher beginning at the start of the 2026-2027 school year
At Plainville High School , we are committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for all of our students. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our Career and Technical Education (CTE) team. The ideal candidate will inspire students through hands-on, project-based learning experiences in a variety of areas including computer science, construction, digital media production, engineering, manufacturing, robotics and transportation technology. This position is part of a comprehensive Technology & Engineering Education program aligned with state standards and career readiness pathways.
The ideal candidate will provide robust, hands-on learning engaging students in a variety of experiences teaching multiple technology and engineering disciplines. We seek an educator who is flexible, innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking.
The classroom environments are designed to reflect a modern, industry-aligned learning space that prepares students for both college and career pathways. The program is supported by multiple state-of-the-art lab spaces, each providing students with hands-on, real-world experiences across a wide range of technology and engineering disciplines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Connecticut Educator certification #047 is required prior to the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Salary range can be found in the Teachers Union Contract, which is located on our website at www.plainvilleschools.org
