Manufacturing Engineer – Battery Cell Assembly (Fargo, ND)

Packet Digital is opening a new lithium‑ion battery manufacturing facility in Fargo, ND, and is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Cell Assembly to help build and optimize our production processes from the ground up. In this role, you'll support key cell assembly operations including die cutting, stacking, electrode tab welding, pouch sealing, X‑ray inspection, and electrolyte filling.

You'll work closely with equipment suppliers and internal teams to support equipment selection, installation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and ongoing process improvement. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on manufacturing, problem‑solving, and launching new production lines.

Qualifications include experience with dry pouch cell manufacturing processes, familiarity with manufacturing validation and MES, and a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline. Lithium‑ion battery production experience is strongly preferred.
