Performs non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity. Receives objectives and technical advice from supervisor or engineer. May be assisted by lower-level technicians. Compiles and computes a variety of engineering data to perform design tasks. May perform preliminary field work and develop client relations to determine project needs. Develops or prepares schematics, designs, specifications, or makes recommendations regarding these items. May perform permitting duties, develop project specifications, and perform project quantification and preliminary estimates. Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, and associated design software program.  Develop and manitain workflows for junior technicians.

Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Years 

Minimum Requirements: Associate degree or 7 years related experience
