We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Operators to join our East Midlands Gateway (Derby) site for our new contract Tails. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and packaging food products. Working across specialized areas, operators follow strict hygiene and safety standards while ensuring smooth and consistent production.


 


This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday on rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00, or Monday to Friday shift from 08:00–16:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:


 



  • Operate machinery and equipment to process and package food products 

  • Ensure all products meet quality, hygiene, and safety standards 

  • Follow standard operating procedures and production schedules 

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of workstations 


 


What you need to succeed at GXO:


 



  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment

  • Understanding of hygiene and safety standards in food production 

  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling, and pushing
