Job Description

Job Title/Position: Director of Business Development

Reports To: Administrator / Regional Consultant

Job Description Summary: The Director of Business Development organizes and directs all publication, marketing efforts, local reputation, clinical capabilities and public education, 

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Create a fluid marketing action plan to promote our healthcare services to hospitals and healthcare providers and potential clients.

  • Conduct occasional on-site assessments of potential patients to help navigate their long-term care.

  • Track admission/discharge and rehospitalization data to understand the diagnosis trends in the industry so that our facility can adjust to serve the highest need.

  • Skills to organize and plan public events hosting up to 100+ people.

  • Have basic clinical knowledge of health and well being and the navigation of geriatric healthcare services.

  • Skills and confidence to speak with doctors, specialists, and healthcare partners about the navigation of senior care.

Job Knowledge:

Must be organized and able to manage a full calendar of travel, appointments, and relationship building of key healthcare community contacts. Knowledgable of technology such as telephone, computer, and tablet (teleheatlh) devices.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.

  • College education or at least 3 years of related marketing and sales experience is preferred.

  • Must possess a valid, clean driver’s license.

  • Must present a positive and professional image of the facility.

  • Must be capable of performing all essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
