Job Description:

 

This position is responsible for the installation & troubleshooting of all CNC machines and Misc. other equipment with minimum assistance and performing TPMs in a timely manner with proper coordination with production, engineering, and other departments. Successful candidates will have forward-thinking, continuous improvement capabilities, and maintain 100% adherence to Morgan Olson’s safety & PPS practices and policies, along with excellent attendance, self-motivation, teamwork skills, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES:

 

  • Troubleshoot and repair CNCs and other related production and facility machine-related problems, including robotics and laser systems.
  • Accurately report technical conditions and information on all facets of maintenance as needed to production and maintenance employees.
  • Work as required with minimal or no supervision, along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize small to large repairs. Schedule repairs thru completion as needed on a regular basis
  • Travel as needed. (Possible training, crossline action, etc.)
  • Must be able to lift 70 lbs. without the aid
  • Interact with other employees on use and repair of CNC & other misc. equipment in a complete and organized manner.
  • Must be proficient at reading and interpreting blueprints, misc. PLCs, ladder logic, and various schematics associated with production and facility equipment. (Programming a plus)
  • Complete required weekly & monthly TPMs, PM’s & PPS reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills overall

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two-year technical school degree in Engineering principles, a Journeyman’s license, or a suitable combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience in computer software/file management is a must.
  • HVAC Certifications required
  • Electrical experience required
