The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a day habilitation setting and within the community.
The Renaissance Program, located in Kingston, is an intensive, life skills training program that supports people with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a supportive learning environment.
People supported in the Renaissance program love to spend time away from the day habilitation setting....they enjoy taking day trips to museums, libraries, shopping, hiking on the local rail trails, and seasonal activities including pumpkin and apple picking, swimming and more! And then there is a fan favorite in Renaissance called "Fast Food Wednesdays" where they get to choose a local restaurant for lunch!

A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.
HOURS: 40/Monday through Friday/8:00 am to 4:00 pm
STARTING SALARY: $ 17.76 to $ 19.54 per hour
