Point University is seeking part-time instructors in Mathematics for its DE programs in-person in the Savannah area. Primary teaching responsibilities may include:

  • MTH 113: Intermediate Algebra
  • MTH 120: College Algebra
  • MTH 191: Pre-Calculus
  • Other courses within the discipline/subject

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the subject field; doctorate preferred.
  • Effective teaching ability/excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred 
  • Experience with Canvas LMS preferred
  • Willingness to be a professional role model and mentor.
  • Commitment to undergraduate education, professional growth, service, and scholarship in a distinctively Christian setting, including agreement with the University’s mission and goals, values, and doctrinal statement.
