- Manage program plans and a view of initiatives to ensure timely, high-quality completion aligned with team and organizational goals.
- Monitor and help mitigate risks across a program of transformation efforts, escalating as needed based on potential impact and reversibility.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, UX, data, and other cross-functional partners to align efforts, surface what is happening, and resolve roadblocks without adding unnecessary process.
- Support program reviews with leadership to assess progress, identify where focused attention is needed, and contribute recommendations on where to accelerate or adjust.
- Contribute to programs focused on improving how teams build, automate, and operate by capturing what is working, documenting patterns, and making them easy for other teams to reuse.
- Provide regular, insight-oriented updates to team members, partners, and leadership on program health, emerging opportunities, and sustainability of the work.
- Engage cross-functional partners regularly to gather feedback on how work and behaviors are changing, and refine lightweight processes that support quality, automation best practices, and team health over time.
- Plan and manage moderately complex transformation programs, supporting project delivery in partnership with product managers and SMEs; step in to manage projects as needed.
- Collaborate with program managers and cross-functional partners to support roadmap planning and execution.
- Conduct and facilitate lightweight program and risk assessments to help ensure transformation efforts are aligned with partner requirements, priorities, and appetite for experimentation.
- Communicate effectively with business and technical partners to share clear updates, synthesize signals from teams, and translate them into simple, actionable readouts.
- Help identify patterns, root causes, and opportunities across teams, and partner with them to design timely solutions that improve how work happens, not just what ships.
- Support and guide project teams, sharing best practices to enhance project management capabilities.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across cross-functional groups to replicate what works, reduce duplicated effort, and support aligned execution of transformation initiatives.
- Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or a minimum of 8 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience.
- Agile and adaptable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Proven experience influencing senior management and managing major cross-functional initiatives.
- Skilled in handling multi-year, highly technical programs (e.g., infrastructure migration, platform programs, re-architecture).
- Ability to communicate technical topics to a business audience, and business topics to technical teams.
- Expertise in various product development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products through the software lifecycle, with metrics orientation and a customer-centric mindset.
