Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont is looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our Infrastructure Operations and Services team. COMPENSATION: The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$102,000. Additional compensation opportunities and incentives will be detailed during the interview process. Please note that the range listed above is our good faith estimate of the hiring range for this role. If you are hired at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, experience, and internal equity across the current team. LOCATION: For employees in Vermont, Blue Cross has transitioned to a hybrid workplace where employees within a 50 mile radius of our Berlin, VT office work Wednesdays in the office with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week. This role can also be filled by a fully remote candidate.
Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall Microsoft 365 and related systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support.
- Design, implement, install, maintain, and administer infrastructures built on Microsoft technologies including hardware, software, and various configurations.
- Monitor overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately.
- Perform root cause analysis on failed components and implement corrective measures.
- Work with others to establish and improve processes and procedures.
- May have sole responsibility for projects and participate in disaster recovery exercises.
Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum four to six (4-6) years’ professional experience in information systems and/or Microsoft 365 systems administration.
- Proven ability to work with infrastructure production support teams and management of external service providers.
- Experience within the US healthcare industry is desired.
- Experience with Information Security solutions is desired.
