JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Slots
JOB SUMMARY:
Supports the planning, coordination, execution, and tracking of projects within the Slot Operations Department. Acts as a key liaison between internal departments, external gaming vendors, and casino operations to ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, on schedule and in compliance with company policies and gaming regulations. Performs duties and responsibilities set forth in the company’s Internal Controls for the position of Slot Project Coordinator and ensures compliance with same.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinates slot-related projects including machine installs, removals, conversions, floor moves, game launches and signage updates while maintaining project timelines, schedules, and task tracking
- Coordinate project-related communication with Marketing, Finance, Compliance, Surveillance, Facilities, and IT Departments
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and operational concerns
- Ensure project deliverables are completed with established deadlines
- Update spreadsheets, game book databases, and project documentation while maintaining audit ready records and project files and accurate records of slot inventory
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate effectively with Vendors, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and project tracking tools
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business, hospitality, or project management preferred
- Experience in casino slot operations or gaming industry preferred
- Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming license
- Must be 21 years of age
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
- Work is typically in an area which may be noisy and may contain secondhand smoke.
- Willing to work multiple locations/properties and endure the elements during the passage between these locations/properties.
