Position Purpose:
Responsible for removing brake shoes from the fabrication line and placing them on the e-coat racks.
Hourly Pay Range: $17.25 - $20.35 (add $0.90 for 2nd shift)
Essential Functions:
- Manually remove brake shoes from fabrication line
- Place brake shoes on to the e-coat racks and
- Grind e-coat rack
- Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace
- Always keep work area clean
- Always work in a safe manner
- Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to work well with others
Physical Demands:
- Must be able stand continuously for 8-12 hrs.
- Must be able to lift 15lbs.
- Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively
- Ability to work in tight places
- Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills
- Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations
- Environmental Conditions:
- Ear and Eye protection is always required in production areas
- Exposure to a noisy work environment
- Exposure to hot and humid conditions
- Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
- Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards always required
