Primary Purpose of Position:  This position will perform semi-skilled tasks in general and preventative facility, property and vehicle maintenance repair work for Partners owned and sub-leased property. 

 

Role and Responsibilities:  

  • Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing: Toprovide maintenance and repair for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systems for Partnersfacilities as well asprovider facilities thatcontract for those services.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Scheduleand conduct preventative maintenance for Partnersandapplicableprovider sites. Document findings and list work performed by date, time, and location. Maintains vehicle fleet andinsuresproper maintenance scheduling.
  • Contract Management: Assuresthat work orders for repairs areaccurateand billedin accordance withfacilities contracts and that all vendor contracts are completed and required by the same.Performs monthly inspections and investigates complaintsregardingjanitorial and other vendor/contractorperformance. Acts as a liaison to outside vendors and contractors.
  • Safety: Performand evaluate monthly fire drills for all Partnerssites. Verify that all procedures for preparing and conducting drills have been completed. Conduct Emergency Drills. Document findings and review with Safety Officer and FacilityManager. Performs building inspection monthly to ensure safety and security.
  • Projects: AssistFacilityManagerwith projectsand project planningfor alllocations. Contact vendors for price quotes and gather data for final project bids. Serves as Project Manager for small projects.
  • Performs other related work as required.  

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • Knowledge ofpractices, methods, and techniques of general maintenance andmaterial and equipment handling
  • Working knowledge of current and emerging industry best practice and ofpolicies andprocedures
  • Skill in the use and care of tools and equipment necessary to the work
  • Ability tooperatethe more common types of shop and wood working equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
  • Ability toestablishand maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to interact with internal and externalcustomers todetermineneeds or resolveproblems
  • Ability to enforce rules and regulations applicable to safe performance within building sites


Education/Experience Required: High School Diploma with three (3) years facilities, maintenance or construction experience. 

Must be able to travel as needed to perform job duties.  

 

Education/Experience Preferred:  Associate’s Degree in a maintenance or construction field with two (2) years facilities, maintenance or construction experience.
