Description

Modlogiq is seeking a detail-oriented Receiver / Material Handler to manage the flow of construction materials in our production facility. You will be responsible for the accurate receiving, labeling, and storage of inventory to ensure our production teams have exactly what they need for "Just-in-Time" delivery. If you are organized, safety-conscious, and experienced with forklifts, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in forklift operation, material handling, and inventory control.

  • Certifications: Must be a licensed and certified forklift operator (or able to pass certification).

  • Skills: Basic knowledge of construction materials; proficient in basic math (weights/measures); comfortable with a Windows computer environment.

  • License: Must hold and maintain a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.

  • Physical Ability: Must be comfortable working in a loud construction environment, indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.

  • Reliability: Strong time management skills and a clean, professional work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving & Inspection: Unload, count, and inspect incoming shipments against POs and Bills of Lading. Identify and report any damages or shortages immediately.

  • Material Movement: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to safely move materials between the yard, warehouse, and production floor.

  • Inventory Control: Maintain a highly organized storage system for all inventory and hazardous materials. Participate in annual inventory counts.

  • Shipping: Prepare "freight-out" or return shipments by packaging, weighing, and labeling goods according to carrier requirements.

  • Site Maintenance: Coordinate trash and recycling pickups; ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and presentable.
