The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director, Early Education and Development, the Curriculum Specialist, Early Literacy, provides leadership and assists with a wide variety of curriculum and instructional activities, including curriculum integration, consultation, coaching, one-to-one and group presentation, classroom support, and instructional strategies for general educators, special education teachers, and literacy coaches serving children Preschool to grade 3 (P-3). The Curriculum Specialist will provide leadership in the development and facilitation of projects, partnerships, and resources and grant management to improve access, equity, and student outcomes in early literacy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Possession of a valid California Clear Multiple Subject or P-3 Teaching Credential;
• Possession of a Master’s Degree in Education or related field, from an accredited college or university
• Possession of a valid California Administrative Services credential -or- Certificate of Eligibility (COE) in Administrative Services;
• Five (5) years professional teaching experience in a P-3 setting;
• Two (2) years of experience in a lead or advisory position;
• Two (2) years of experience developing and conducting presentations.

Salary Info
Benefits package (Medical, Vision, Dental & Life) Employer pays annually up to: $22,000 Blue Shield or Kaiser
