Position Summary
The Real Estate Analyst reports to the Vice President / Asset Manager. The individual hired for
this position will work directly on a portfolio of real estate investments primarily comprised of
Data Centers. The position is tasked with helping drive investment strategy and value creation through oversight of property operations and capital deployment. The ideal candidate should
have effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and assume additional roles.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist asset managers with:
- Extracting metrics from various data sources, including accounting systems, to support the development and execution of strategic business plans and property operating budgets.
- Drafting quarterly and annual property reporting packages covering portfolio metrics, financial performance, developments, and outlooks of the portfolio and individual properties
- Preparing detailed financial analyses of operating performance, leasing trends, submarket analytics, and competitive property analysis
- Maintaining efficient information flow between asset managers, property managers, and executives
- Assist with reviewing and analyzing new leases and uploading data into the firm’s accounting system as needed.
- Assist with reviewing capital structures and loan documents to fulfill lenders’ requests.
- Assist with Acquisitions by reviewing due diligence materials and summarizing findings.
- Assist with Dispositions by preparing due diligence materials.
- Participate in other ad hoc activities that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, real estate, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 1 - 3 years of expertise in real estate asset management and acquisitions.
