What You'll Do
As a Care Professional, you will provide non-medical support that helps seniors maintain independence and dignity at home. Responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Assisting with walking and mobility
- Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, linens, kitchen and bathroom cleaning)
- Laundry assistance
- Running errands or accompanying clients to appointments
- Assistance with bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Support for clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
- Hospice care support
You will also:
- Document daily activities and report changes in client conditions
- Maintain communication with the office team and supervisors
- Follow individualized care plans to ensure quality care

Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in training and Care Professional meetings
- Report hours according to office policy
- Update client information in the client system
- Provide transportation for clients when needed using your vehicle or a client’s vehicle
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid auto insurance
- Ability to work in various home environments
- Commitment to treating clients and their homes with dignity and respect
