Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) – Travel with Provider

Part-Time | 10-20 Hours Weekly
Pay: $18 – $22 per hour (DOE)
About the Role
Senior Health is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our growing team. This role is perfect for an MA who enjoys working closely with providers, traveling to different facilities, and building relationships with patients and care teams.
You will travel with a provider to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities throughout the Springfield area, helping deliver high-quality medical care to seniors where they live.

What You’ll Do
- Perform the patient rooming process including vitals and documentation
- Assist providers during patient visits in SNF and ALF facilities
- Schedule diagnostic testing and follow-up appointments
- Complete telephone follow-ups with patients and facilities
- Enter information into the EHR and assist with documentation
- Pend prescription refills for provider review
- Enter and coordinate patient referrals
- Travel with providers to multiple facilities in Springfield MO
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Active Missouri Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) certification
- Current BLS / CPR certification
- 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant, CNA, or Care Coordinator
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Springfield, MO
