Responsibilities:
- Improve E-powertrain Global Business Enterprise competitiveness through cost reductions in liaison with Commodity organization.
- Support and contribute to Commodity panels strategy within his Global Business Enterprise/Region by:
executing productivity objectives;
ensuring supplier performance review and action plan tracking.
- New Product Introduction & Value Engineering-Resourcing.
lead and execute suppliers' selection process for New Product Introduction and Value Engineering/Resourcing (for the assigned projects) in alignment with the panel Strategy;
own Project deliverables for his sourced components like Cost, Milestones (Protos, ODT, PPAP, SOP) and compliance to components designs, support TEFS;
suggest Resourcing opportunities to commodity & participate to Value Engineering ideas generation for Global Business Enterprise Projects;
execute Value Engineering, Resourcing, logistics productivity actions in line with Annual Operating Plan requirements and in collaboration with Commodity organization;
manage post-SOP Engineering changes with suppliers and secure first year of savings after award.
- Mass Production Operations.
includes Original Equipment Services and Independent Aftermarket when the part is in Original Equipment Manufacturing;
collect capacity data from suppliers;
handle logistics/capacity/quality issues in the Global Business Enterprise as the first sourcing interface of plant supply chain & Quality (according to escalation process);
validate and negotiate charge-back amounts;
implement Mitigation action plan in the Global Business Enterprise;
define and execute first level of actions of gap closure plan;
support for trade, compliance & sustainability related information collection.
- Pilot supplier relationship role as KSC (Key Supplier Contact), when assigned by Commodity (delegation).
Skills and experience sought:
- working experience in direct buying;
- project management (nice to have);
- technical bacgroung - engineer in electro-mechanical area;
- good communication skills;
- able to work in multinational organization;
- must have very good organization skills.
