The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Utica is seeking a hands-on, experienced Director of Housekeeping & Laundry to lead all environmental services operations. This is a full-time leadership role responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-managed facility while overseeing both housekeeping and laundry departments.

We are a rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in Utica, NY. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of housekeeping and laundry services

• Supervise, schedule, and support department staff

• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and linen quality

• Maintain compliance with infection control, OSHA, and regulatory standards

• Oversee laundry processing, linen inventory, and distribution

• Manage supplies, inventory, and departmental budgets

• Train, coach, and develop team members

• Ensure survey readiness at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a housekeeping leadership role in long-term care or healthcare

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Knowledge of infection control and regulatory requirements

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Compassionate and team-oriented approach
